Frazier General Contractors for their help on project installation.

The Nashville Veterinary Specialists Emergency Service officially opened on Monday February 7th at 6PM. With the addition of our veterinary emergency services we have a doctor on-site at all times. We’ve added three full time emergency doctors to provide better care for our patients and clients. Our emergency doctors are available for overnight support for case transfers from referring veterinarians as well as to see small animal emergency patients directly. Our after-hours pet emergency service opens at 6PM and closes at 7AM Monday through Friday. On the weekends we are open from noon on Saturday until 7AM Monday morning. We are open 24 hours a day on major Holidays as well. We can be contacted by calling the main hospital number (615-386-0107). Nashville Veterinary Specialists is very excited about this expansion of our services. We will continue to strive to do the very best job possible taking care of the pets, animal owners and referring veterinarians of middle Tennessee.

NVS GOES SOLAR

Nashville Veterinary Specialists has gone “solar” with the installation of a 29 kWatt photovoltaic system on our roof. The system will provide an estimated 25-40% of our total energy needs. The solar panels are attached to Nashville’s general electricity grid and any excess power will help support overall energy needs for Nashville. The decision to commit to solar power is part of Nashville Veterinary Specialist’s broader environmental commitment including a comprehensive recycling program, initiatives to decrease waste, natural daylighting and more. To learn more about what Nashville Veterinary Specialists is doing to decrease our environmental impact read further on our website.
