Dr. Barden Greenfield is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC), and a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry (AVD). He is one of only forty-three veterinarians in the world to hold both honors. His love for veterinary dentistry began when he studied that 7 of 10 dogs and cats over 3 years of age have some form of periodontal disease, and that these pets were extremely uncomfortable and were suffering in silence. Watching pets transform from pain to joy is what makes his job such a rewarding one. The overwhelming owner comment has been “we haven’t seen our pet this frisky or happy in a long time”.
Dr. Greenfield is also on the Board of Directors of the American VeterinaryDental Society (AVDS) and the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry (F4VD). He has lectured on the local, state, and national level on a variety of veterinary dental topics. His nurse, Tammy Hudson, is a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) that has extensive training in dental hygiene and oral care.
