Diplomate American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology)
Dr. Dottie Williams is a Nashville native and attended Harding Academy, University School of Nashville and Hillsboro High School. In 2008 she graduated Cum Laude from Emerson College in Boston with a Bachelors of the Arts in writing, literature, and publishing. In 2015 she received her DVM from the University of Tennessee. She then completed a one-year rotating internship at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine followed by a three-year residency in neurology and neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee in 2019. Dr. Williams became board-certified in Veterinary Neurology in 2019 and is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
Within the field of veterinary neurology her special interests include neurosurgery and epilepsy. Outside of work, her hobbies include backpacking, weight-lifting, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
