Sarah O’Neill, VMD, DACVD

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Sarah O’Neill grew up in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and has roots in eastern Kentucky. She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. After a working for a year at a veterinary practice in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Dr. O’Neill attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude and obtaining a Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) in 2006. The following year, she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

Dr. O’Neill completed a three-year residency in veterinary dermatology at the University of Tennessee in 2010. She is board certified and a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD).

She lives with her husband, Matthew, three sons (Porter, Jameson, and Hayes), and two dogs (an English Bulldog named Moses and a Black Lab named Art). Outside of veterinary dermatology, Dr. O’Neill’s passions include her family, friends, gardening, and other outdoor activities.
