Ingrid Brookshaw

Dr. Ingrid Brookshaw’s passions lie in wildlife and zoological medicine, however, having worked in emergency relief in the UK she is enjoying expanding her skillset and learning from peers and specialists within the emergency and critical care department at NVS.

Dr. Ingrid Brookshaw graduated from the University of Queensland (Australia) School of Veterinary Science in 2017. She completed an internship in wildlife medicine at the wildlife center of Virginia and worked in private small animal and exotics practice prior to moving to London to complete a master’s degree in Wild Animal Health with the Royal Veterinary College and Zoological Society of London, graduating in 2021.

When Dr. Ingrid Brookshaw isn’t treating her patients, she can be found hiking with her three-legged shepherd mix Chilli, searching for the ultimate flat-white coffee, or foisting vegemite sandwiches onto her unsuspecting co-workers.
