Dr. Cook earned his undergraduate degree, graduating magna cum laude, from Loyola University Maryland, in 2012 with a double major in biology and sociology. He then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and went on to complete a rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey followed by a medical oncology and clinical trials specialty internship and medical oncology residency at The Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center.
He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology). His professional interests include the treatment of canine osteosarcoma and canine and feline lymphoma, clinical research, and clinical trials. Dr. Cook was selected as the winner of the 2021 American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Early Clinical Oncology Research Award.
During his free time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, watching sports (Ohio State football, and the New York Yankees and Giants), and spending time with fiancé and his two rescue dogs, Rosie and Laila.
