Dr. William (Will) Baker was born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor’s degree in 2008, and from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. After graduation, he completed a small animal internship at BluePearl in Louisville, Kentucky. He then practiced as a senior emergency clinician, served as the emergency department head, and director of the internship program at BluePearl in Louisville for several years before moving back to Middle Tennessee.
He is married to a veterinary clinical pathologist (Dr. Kate Baker). They live on a small farm with two young children, a boisterous cavalier poodle mix (Birdie), and an old cranky chihuahua (Minnie). In his free time, Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with his family, being outside, sports (Go Vols!), listening to music, and reading books.
