Dr. Ashlyn Gomoll was born and raised in southern Indiana, where she developed a love for animals at a very young age. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Louisville in 2018. She then traveled to Alabama and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Auburn University in 2022. During her time in Auburn, she worked in the small animal hospital’s ER and ICU department as a student worker. 

After graduation, Dr. Gomoll completed a one-year Small Animal rotating internship at Nashville Veterinary Specialists (NVS) and then accepted a position as an Emergency Veterinarian with NVS. Though she is an ER doctor, she has a passion for cardiology and critical care medicine. 

Dr. Gomoll currently lives in Nashville with her sweet golden retriever, Sawyer (pictured). In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, taking her pup hiking, and playing golf. She is a frequent concert-goer and enjoys all things music, especially k-pop.
