Dr. Neuzil is originally from a suburb outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota for both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees.

After graduation, Dr. Neuzil moved to Boise, Idaho to complete a small animal rotating internship. Going back to Minnesota, she then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Her research during residency involved utilizing video capsule endoscopy to evaluate the impact of critical illness on gastrointestinal health and function in dogs. She is particularly interested in autoimmune disease, as well as infectious disease and liver disease. 

Dr. Neuzil is a big fan of college football, basketball, and the Iowa Hawkeyes. She has one cat named Munchkin, who despite her name has a large personality! She also plans to add a Cavalier King Charles to the family once she’s settled into her new home. She spends her free time road cycling, seeking live music, and spending time with family and friends.
