Drew Armstrong

Dr. Armstrong is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and went to college at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology (2005). He then attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. After graduating veterinary school in 2010, he joined the Army, practicing veterinary medicine and caring for Military Working Dogs. During this time stationed in Maryland and Okinawa, Japan. Dr. Armstrong then completed a surgery residency at Michigan State University in 2018.
Before moving to Nashville in 2022, he continued to serve in the Army at Fort Hood, Texas and in the Middle East until his Honorable Discharge in May of 2022.
Dr. Armstrong is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
In his free time, he enjoys sports, weightlifting, and spending time with his wife and four children, three German Shepherds, Blue Heeler, Miniature Dachshund and cat.
