Dr. Julie Trzil received her veterinary medical degree from the University of Tennessee in 2009. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship in veterinary medicine and surgery at Texas A&M University in 2010 and an internal medicine specialty internship at Memphis Veterinary Specialists in 2011. Dr. Trzil was then accepted into a small animal internal medicine residency at the University of Missouri. She completed her residency along with a concurrent Master’s degree in biomedical sciences in 2014. Dr. Trzil’s research focused on the use of stem cells in the treatment of feline asthma.
Dr. Trzil is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (small animal internal medicine) and has experience with a wide range of internal medicine problems including liver, kidney, infectious, autoimmune, and endocrine diseases. In addition, she has a special interest in respiratory and liver diseases. She endeavors to provide the highest quality medicine and compassionate care while considering the interests of your pet and family as a whole.
When Dr. Trzil is not caring for pets, she spends time with her husband and two children. She enjoys hiking, painting, and bowling.
