Raley Lewis
Dr. Raley Lewis was born in Dallas, Texas, and spent some time in Smiths Station, Alabama, before her family finally settled in Athens, Georgia. She graduated summa cum laude from Piedmont College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science and a minor in Chemistry before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. During her time at UGA, she served as an ambassador for the CVM and was vice president of her class.
Following graduation, Dr. Lewis completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at Nashville Veterinary Specialists and Animal Emergency. She then spent a short time working in an emergency clinic in Knoxville before returning to the NVS Emergency Service in 2016.
Dr. Lewis currently lives in Nashville with her husband, Joey, and their dogs Hattie (pictured) and Harley. She and Joey enjoy experiencing the Nashville music scene and love exploring new places in their free time.
