Dr. Kelly Wang graduated from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in microbiology. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2000 with high honors. Upon graduation, she completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Wang pursued further training and completed a 3-year residency and master’s program in small animal internal medicine at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine (2001-2004). Her research during her master’s program involved the study of the canine urogenital tract using urocystoscopy.
Dr. Wang is board certified in small animal internal medicine and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine since 2004. Dr. Wang’s special interests include pancreatitis, gastrointestinal diseases, and endocrinopathies.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Wang enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, watching cooking shows, hiking, and biking. She has two cats, Winston and Franklin.
