Dr. Stephanie McLeod was born and raised in Michigan (and will use her hand as a map to show you where). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology at Michigan State University. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State University in 2019.

Dr. McLeod completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery rotating internship at Nashville Veterinary Specialists (NVS) in 2020 then accepted a position as an Emergency Veterinarian with NVS. Though she is an ER doctor, she has a passion for Behavior Medicine and is working toward her Fear-Free certification to help minimize the stress that some pets feel at a veterinary hospital.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Finn, and fiance, Adam. She loves being outdoors, but also enjoys reading and binge-watching tv shows (horror/suspense is her favorite genre).
